News: Second-seeded Rafael Nadal withdrew from the Tennis Masters Cup on Monday less than two hours before his opening match, the latest high-profile player to exit the season-ending tournament.
Nadal pulled out with an injured left foot. The 19-year-old Spaniard had been due to play Gaston Gaudio of Argentina in a round-robin match in the Gold Group.
