News: Legislation to cap increases in the state budget would have a devastating effect on the state's ability to manage and deliver crucial services to its citizens, Mary Soderberg, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Budget, said today.
"We already have tools in place to make government more efficient and effective," Soderberg told the House Democratic Policy Committee at a hearing on state budget spending caps. "We need to continue to use those tools."
