News: Diaz, 51, a Cuban-born lawyer and businessman, is widely expected to win a second term in the nonpartisan vote, which was delayed two weeks by Hurricane Wilma. Four longshot challengers are on the ballot, the best-known among them a radio personality who has raised only a fraction of Diaz's more than $1.2 million.
'I think we have a good record to run on. People can see that changes that have occurred, and people like the direction the city is going,' Diaz said in an interview. 'People want to come to Miami to live, work and play.'
